COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION:
The organization IPEC (Institute of Permaculture and Ecovillage of the Cerrado) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization which has its office in the ecocentre, located in Pirenópolis, Goiás state, Brazil. The institute was founded in 1998 with the purpose of establishing appropriate solutions to problems in society, promoting the viability of a sustainable culture, fomenting educational experiences and disseminating models in the Brazilian savannah, the “cerrado”.
